The Bruce Peninsula provides the perfect backdrop for snowmobiling. There are miles of trails that run from Wiarton all the way up to Tobermory. To use these private trails, all snowmobilers must purchase a trail permit, available at several locations up and down the Bruce Peninsula.
Some of the snowmobile trails in the Bruce Peninsula takes you through forests and along escarpments, providing you with some beautiful views of the rugged limestone formations famous on the Niagara Escarpment.. Be sure to bring your camera.
There are several Bed and Breakfast's and Inn's open to accommodate snowmobilers. Many of these accommodations offer a warm fireplace and a hot cider after a long day on the trails.
