The Bruce Peninsula provides the perfect backdrop for snowmobiling. There are miles of trails that run from Wiarton all the way up to Tobermory. To use these private trails, all snowmobilers must purchase a trail permit, available at several locations up and down the Bruce Peninsula.
Some of the snowmobile trails in the Bruce Peninsula takes you through forests and along escarpments, providing you with some beautiful views of the rugged limestone formations famous on the Niagara Escarpment.. Be sure to bring your camera.
Buy Where You Ride
Each club receives a portion of the permit sale to offset maintenance costs, so it is extremely important to purchase your trail permit each year before December 1st (for the discounted rate) and credit the region where you ride most. It makes a big difference.
