CANOEING & KAYAKING SAUBLE BEACH
Sauble River - which is in Sauble Beach is a great place to launch a canoe or kayak. Paddling the Rankin River is a popular excursion, and you can rent a canoe or kayak from one of the local outfits in the area. Sauble Beach and area are host to several fishing derby's throughout the year, which is no wonder considering the many lakes and charters available to the beginner and avid fisherman.

HIKING SAUBLE BEACH
Sauble Beach has a few hiking trails throughout the area for all levels of hikers. Only 20 minutes drive away - in Wiarton - you can access the Bruce Trail and hike the trails that over-look Georgian Bay on top of the majestic Niagara Escarpment.

DAY TRIPPING UP THE PENINSULA
Sauble Beach is located at the foot of one of the most beautiful and natural areas in Southern Ontario. The Bruce Peninsula is home to 2 National Parks, several Ontario Parks, nature reserves, the best of the Bruce Trail hiking and home to a Unesco World Biosphere designated area.
- Take a drive to Wiarton and hike to Spirit Rock Conservation Area.
- Take your mountain bike to the "Mountain Bike The Bruce" Adventure Park.
- Drive up to Lion's Head where you can view the majestic limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment along the shores of Isthmus Bay.
- Day trip to Tobermory and visit the National Park's Visitors Centre and climb up the tower and view the islands of the Fathom Five National Marine Park

You can enjoy skiing & hiking at the Sauble River Conservation Area, or take a short drive to Wiarton and ski or snowshoe the Bruce Trail along the shores of Georgian Bay.

SNOWBILING SAUBLE BEACH
Sauble Beach is a winter wonderland. Sauble Beach is connected to the OFSC - the snowmobile trails lead you to just about anywhere in Ontario.See the area, spend an afternoon, or pack some gear and tour the Bruce and Grey counties. Don't forget to take a camera though, because you'll have exclusive access to some of the most beautiful (and otherwise inaccessible) country you've ever seen.
Access to snowmobile routes may be found:
1. Off of D-line, just south of Fedy Dr.
2. At the north and south corners of Rankin Bridge Road (just east of the Rankin Bridge)
3. At the south corner of C-line, off of Jewel Bridge Road
4. Off of Main Street (County Rd. 8) between D-line and Municipal Road
