Innisfree Cottage, Dyer's Bay
Bruce Peninsula
Innisfree Cottage, Dyers Bay, on the shores of Georgian Bay and nestled under the Niagara Escarpment offers visitors a choice of holiday experiences. It's quiet and peaceful, but natural activities, such as hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming and sightseeing, begin at the front door.
The cottage sleeps four with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area plus a screened-in porch. A walk-out deck is attached to the porch with another deck at water's edge.
Dyers Bay, a community in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, is designated a dark skies area, so expect to view stars and planets not visible in the cities. A Bruce Trail spur begins 300 metres away
The view from the cottage is stunning.
The beach is shelf rock with good swimming. Sandy beaches at Singing Sands and Dunks Bay are twenty minutes' drive away.
Twenty minutes to the south is Lion's Head, with good stores for groceries, liquor, beer and hardware. Twenty minutes north is Tobermory also with shopping, plus restaurants, cruises, National Parks, golfing and the ferry to Manitoulin Island.
